Our Take
I’ve been testing this 118W USB-C charger for several weeks, and I’m impressed by what you get for under $27. The 4.4-star rating from over 5,200 buyers reflects solid performance that matches my experience. What I like most is the charging speed – it powered my MacBook Pro 16″ from dead to full in about 90 minutes, which beats Apple’s official charger timing.
The wide compatibility is another standout feature. I’ve successfully charged everything from my M2 MacBook Air to my iPhone 15 and even a Dell laptop. The automatic power identification works well, delivering the right wattage without any manual settings. Build quality feels sturdy for the price point, with a proper braided cable that doesn’t feel cheap.
However, it’s not perfect. The charger runs noticeably warm during intensive charging sessions, though it’s within normal operating ranges. Some users in the 10% one-star reviews mention durability concerns after extended use, which is worth considering for a third-party option.
At this price point, you’re getting excellent value – especially when Apple’s official 140W charger costs nearly four times more. For most users who need reliable fast charging without breaking the bank, this delivers.
