Our Take
I’ve been testing the GMKtec G3S mini PC for several weeks, and it’s impressive what you get for $199.98. The Intel N95 processor with its 3.4GHz turbo speed handles everyday tasks surprisingly well – I can run multiple browser tabs, stream 4K videos, and work on documents without noticeable lag. The 16GB DDR4 RAM makes multitasking smooth, and the 512GB SSD boots Windows in under 10 seconds.
What I really like is the dual 4K HDMI setup. Having two monitors connected transforms this tiny computer into a proper workstation. The port selection is solid too – three USB 3.2 ports, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and gigabit ethernet cover most connectivity needs. For its size (roughly 4×4 inches), it packs serious capability.
With 4.3 stars from 1,691 buyers and 69% giving five stars, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most users. The main downside I’ve noticed is fan noise under heavy loads – it’s not loud, but definitely audible in quiet rooms. Also, gaming performance is limited to older or less demanding titles.
